Blues Obscurities Vol. 1 - 10

The original postings  have been deleted as I will be making new rips from almost near mint LP's to replace the lower quality rips posted in the past.
I hope to have them ripped, tagged and ready to post within  2 months.

Track listing and an excellent article on English limited editions from the 60's and early 70's can be found at http://www.wirz.de/music/blobsfrm.htm

Thanks so much for this! I did decide to tag it... but I notice in the link you provided, Vol. 1 is supposed to have 14 tracks. Is yours from a different version...? Again... your generosity in sharing this great set is truly appreciated.

Finavarra, the first 3 lps where later re-released on the London label and the 1st volume had 2 extra tracks to the original release. I 've kept to the original track listing of the original releases.

Many thanks - I have the old London Dark Muddy Bottom LP, but the remainder of the series just downloaded should keep me out of trouble for a good many hours to come. Excellent! You are a gent, sir.

Just passing by to say "thanks!" ---there's a lot of very obscure records on your site, notably compilations that I never heard of!

I downloaded these rather unique albums when they were posted earlier. But being one of those "freaky people" who like to retag their downloads to their personal preferences, I noted that the artwork was not very uniform (i.e., no all the same). But examining the greater portion of the covers provided, I realized that I had used a very similar typeface for an earlier project. Not the same as the original but very, very close. So I made a set of my own "covers" using the information and somewhat the format.

If you are interested in copies they are here [only 523kb]:

A little light in the dark ... mmm, not a little, a lot. And information coming from Wirz, must be totally complete. Thank you very much, a lot to learn.

I'll be looking forward to this. I have the full set already but from memory it's low bitrate and poor quality sound, so a fresh rip in 320 will be much appreciated.
