Sadly this 1985 LP was his last recording.
For some years previous Harriet Ottenheimer had been collaborating with Joe on a book about his life and times. This was published two years before his death - Cousin Joe: Blues From New Orleans (Chicago UP, 1987).
It also contains a superb Sessionography commencing in July 1945.
