Those Sunnylands stand among the rarest of the rarest LPs! Mostly unissued material at this time and great tracks. Thanks Xyros! Just Louisiana bluesman "Blue Scotty" sings "True love blues", not Chicago singer-guitarist Blue Smitty

I had all 3 of these albums back in the early 1970s, we ordered them directly from the UK. The Muddy & Chicago albums were gatefold with lots of inserts...photos and session details. The Gulf Coast just came with one loose sheet which we pasted on the plain white cover.

Gerard, Thank you for correcting the info on the Chicago LP.

Hi Xyros and thanks for these....one thing though, the Gulf Coast Blues Set has 14 tracks listed and there are only ten in the download...I DL'ed twice to make sure...also the sheet that shows the track listing by side doesn't match some of the tracks that did download...hope you can figure this out and possibly reload it...again thanks for everything you do here...Mucho Appreciated...

@ Nappyrags, the track listing on the insert is incorrect. Stefan's site has more variations on the track listing but my Lp has 10 tracks and after listening to them I've tagged them as I think is correct.
Always open for any other suggestions to the correct order.

@Xyros

On Gulf Coast Blues the tagging you used appears to be the same as the LP labels. As explained at Wirz's site, Sunnyland screwed it up royally. (One set on the back liner cover, one in the notes, and one on the LP labels, all incorrect). Wirz gives a correct listing according to Mike Ledbitter, but that does not match the tracks you have.

And so, being the lunatic I am, when retagging this one, they didn't sound right. So, I had to listen to the music and correct them. This is what I have (my print out using MP3tag- my choice for retagging music [which is why it has track lengths]):

01 D.C. Bender - D.C.'s Freeze Up 03:29
02 Blue Scotty - True Love Blues 03:50
03 Blue Scotty - Old Happy Days Blues 04:11
04 Silas Hogan - Let Me Be Your Hatchett 03:40
05 Big Houston Williams - Come Back Baby Blues 03:13
06 Rockin' Sidney - Boogie In The Mud 02:40
07 Big Houston Williams - H's Sunshine 02:31
08 Vincent Frank - Opelousas Special 03:14
09 Silas Hogan - Born In Texas 03:20
10 Mabel Franklin - False Start/Wiggle, Wiggle 04:09

Disc Length 00:34:17

I, too can be corrected if I am wrong, but I am 99 94/100% sure. :D

Oh, and thank you for the rarities!

I'm beginning to have a very strong dislike to the Gulf Coast Blues LP. I was pretty sure that I had it tagged correctly but I'll give it another listen.
