This album was originally released in France on the very "panassiéiste" Black & Blue label. As all B&B albums, it was aimed primarily at the "conservative" section of the French Jazz audience. Good album nvertheless. B&B did a good job in bringing back to a wider audience a whole lot of nearly forgotten musicians (Roy Milton, Roy Agee, Tiny Grimes..)about a decade before the jump blues revival.
