Thank you very much Xyros and HM (always there when one needs him, danke schön) for this now quite rare BJT LP. Would anyone have the idea whose backing musicians were on this session? The standard disco doesn't say nothing about it

ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for posting this one. With Gerard's help, there is much great Joe Turner around.
Could be Hollywood Fats band backing him--common at this time(late70s,early80s)

ReplyDeletePeople who once thought they would be relaxed when King-Kong died very viole ntly --- What he deserved --- were in shock when they discovered they would have to cope with Joe, Mr.Joe or whatever you want to call him.Son of Kong. I reckon he was not that bad, although a bit guignol on rough edges, but he will never mention the day he upsetted me so much that I almost killed him. He was lucky, got Pee Wee on some tracks. He's always welcome in South, of course, not to mention Australia and Switzerland.
ReplyDeleteDr.John.
well not my boss
ReplyDeleteGeorge Smith is on harp on this session!
