A big thanks to Hakase for sharing these Flac rips and complete scans. But just as important for pointing out that though they have the same tracks they're very different versions or takes.... two versions of the same CD. So get both and enjoy.

  10. I knew Mike Henderson when I lived in the Bay Area. I think he is still alive. Very nice guy and I seem to recall he was a school teacher. He lived in San Francisco. I used to see him perform as an opening act quite a bit. Saw him and Luther Tucker play together. A few of my friends played in his band!

  11. That must have been a great area to live and go to the clubs.

    1. yeah Xyros, the Bay Area had a great Blues scene back in the day and a lot of legends either living there or passing through on tour to perform regularly!

  14. Thanks, this post brought me down memory lane.
Some Years ago I heard "Elvin bishop Group - Live at the Keystone Corner 1971" through Woflgang's Vaults.
Due to illness they had some guest musicians steppin' in for the 4 night run.
They wanted to record a Live LP, as far as I remember.
Anyway, a Mike Henderson plays on ''Don't you lie to me'' and ''Soon forgotten'' and I wondered who he was.
    Cheers
