Some more Otis Spann from the 60's (?). This lp released on the French BYG label looks like a collection of tracks taken from various lp's but I could be wrong. I never really listened to Otis until recently and that was a mistake .... he's brilliant but everybody knows that.

This tracks are from sessions for Candid label, already released on two cd by candid. Also included on a boxset titled : Otis Spann _ Lightnin' Hopkins Complete Candid Sessions [MOSAIC] .
Anyway thanks a lot for back again!

Thanks. I thought it was a Comp from the Candid sessions...but you never know..Otis recorded quite a lot for small labels. I think I have every thing he every recorded...because in my humble opinion he is the greatest blues piano player ever to tickle the ivory's!
