I haven't commented nearly as much as I should - you have a terrific site & share so many excellent things! Thanks so much!
Glad you like the site and music and I wouldn't worry to much about comments :-).
Help ... Does someone know why the comments keep dissappearing from the "recent comments" box after a couple hours to a day.
Thanks for this and the rest. I think this page about Marcelle Morgantini would interest you an dfaithful followers of your blog :

Beautiful story and admirable woman.
I own the Chicago Blues Box that you mention in the post. I don't know if it has all of the MCM recordings but it has a lot of great ones. Highly recommended if you are fan of Chicago blues. I can't imagine there are many that go to this website who are not.

I have the "Blues Box" set from Storyville Records that is 7 CD's and a DVD...great stuff...don't remember which website I bought it on but I do remember it was only $20 new...Yowsuh!!!
That was a great buy. I paid full price at the Storyville website. The box had one cd double and was missing another but Storyville posted the missing cd when asked.
Would you happen to have this in lossless, by any chance? I've been trying to find a lossless copy of this one seemingly forever.
Very nice and thanks a lot, but unfortunateley there's no link for this one. but nevertheless thanks for all your efforts!
thanks
There is no link yet as I'm waiting for a reply, just be patient.
Thank you for your generous offer! True...it is disc 3 of the first Blues Box - which I have. For reasons unknown to me now, I've always been somewhat anal about having the original releases as well as all the expanded issues of these great MCM/Storyville releases. If it doesn't trouble you too much, could I ask you to rip just the original disc? Additionally, could I also trouble you for the booklet scan of Blues Box #1? I have no idea why my copy of that is AWOL from my files. Thankfully, the booklet to Blues Box #2 is still where its supposed to be. MANY thanks!
Cheers, Whole box sounds nice! Gr. Mr. Nice
Okay, I'm staying effected, thanks a lot!

Got it right now too, thanks a lot!
