This was ripped from a cd that has been released on various labels but has been dleted for years now. With a bit of luck you might find something on ebay or 2ndhand at Amazon.

From Rixboy....Thanks for new link Xyros but there appears to be a problem with the file.....if you look at Zippy link it shows that the file is only 38.5 kilobytes, which means the song titles appear, but with no music attached. I'm sorry to be a pain but is there any way that you could fix this? Thanks again for your help. Cheers Rixboy

the file has a small size, why?

Xyros said...

I'll be replacing the link with a new one with the correct files. Sorry about the mess up.

Rixboy thanks Xyros for ReUp links to Maxwell Street Alley Blues. This CD is fantastic and I am so happy to finally hear it, it has been unavailable/deleted for so long, other than this P-Vine re-issue, all great no matter where it comes from. This bloke can really play harp!
Thanks again and especially for speed & efficiency. Cheers, Rixboy

2 tracks recorded by Big John in 1974 during his European tour. They were released in 1979 in France as part of a 6 single Coca Cola Promo action that covered various styles of popular music. It came in a pic/art sleeve but with no Big John on it, single was on blue vinyl. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PmNX_pVDAk

@ Muddyw123, I have that single but the tracks are different to the ones on Youtube.
Here's a link to them http://www32.zippyshare.com/v/pCxMR1Ec/file.html

not great qlty and almost same as the cd
but tracks 09 10 11 is more clearly stereo mix than cd i believe
well i believe also the single you posted seems like "Ja-Wes" one not on "Coke" one you see
anyway thanks always ;)

Xyros said...

Thank you hakase for the correction to the single. I'm not sure how they got mixed up as I remember ripping the "Coke" single years ago.
Have to agree about the different mixes beteween the your vinyl copy and the cd copy I used. Maybe I'll rip my original vinyl copy one of these days before I sell it.
