This ession was originally made by/for Folkways but was never issued on this label (and I guess in the USA). Don't know the reason why...
Big joe Williams, vcl/g/kazoo (on B6); Bill Einhorn, hca; Tom Pyle, bs. New York City, 14 May 1965
Thanks Gerard & Xyros for another one I didn't have.
Thank you very, very much Blue Eye for this seminal album. It is not possible to have a complete collection of Big Joe without this album.
The reason why it was never edited could be the bad sound of the recording: it looks like it is pressed without the RIA equalization curve.
Thanks anyway.
@ramson. It's my LP which has a very poor sound. I bought this one on e-bay at a reasonable price but it was not in good shape and I found it very difficult to digitalize it with an OK sound. I feel there were better pressings particularly on the Folkways label.
