there's NO information about Big Sam on the back cover
Followed up on your previous upload of Big Sam on the singles selection for which I remain very grateful -- but wait for my response about Mr. ... I'll have a go at finding out more. Sleepy John Estes did say Sam had a poor reception in Norway because of a lot of fools who were interested only to see and hear the famous Estes-Nix combination. Well, I was amazed to see them once, but I like good music and Big Sam didn't need to be in the Sleepy John class to be well worth hearing -- and, dammit and damn little fools -- LISTENING TO.

Glad you like th elp and got to see him play. Though it is odd that's there is next to nothing on Big Sam on the net.
I didn't know him but he's a little marvel....
