I watched it on Sunday. Eddie Murphy is tremendous as Rudy Ray. Great movie.

Thanks a ton for posting the Rudy Ray Moore. He's been one of my favorites for years and I've never had the chance to listen to any of his party records, let alone his singing. If you want to really enjoy the Eddie Murphy film on Netflix, may I suggest watching Rudy's 1975 movie Dolemite - what they are shooting in Eddie's picture. Watching the real thing first makes Eddie's movie much funnier and more poignant. If needed I can post a Wetransfer link of the real deal if there is interest (it's almost 2GB).

I've watched the Eddie Murphy movie with my wive and and it was great fun and very well acted. My English is good enough to understand and follow the lines but if you have to rely on (Dutch) subtitles the lines you're going to miss a lot. It just can't be translated and the subs have been cleaned up to be Politically Correct from a non Afro American audience ... a shame.

Feel free to watch Dolemite on YouTube or download this copy for the next 7 days. Whatever you do, watch it, as it is a real pisser. The sequel - The Human Tornado, is actually even better. I'll post it here in the next day or two. Enjoy.
