Man, does this take me back. I used to frequent Tabby's Blues Box in Baton Rouge, back when I attended LSU. It was off limits to the football team during the season, but I kept going and got caught. Had to run the damn stadium steps every night for 2 weeks as punishment. Senior year, I said f%&k it, and still went. Thx for the memory, Xyros!
Pmac, you where lucky. You got to see the musicians on homeground, have a beer and to top it offf ..... a free workout.
Was a great place, Xyros. His son, Chris Thomas King, just announced plans to open a similar type place in BR. I'll go, but no way in hell I'm running stadium steps this time!
