Nice. I posted a tentatively "complete recordings" of Calvin Leavy some years ago on my blog (https://jukegh.blogspot.com/2014/07/calvin-leavy.html) with a bio. It brought the attention to Calvin's daughter who contacted me asking me to send her copies of her father's records that she didn't have! I feel the links of this post are deleted for long. If possible, and if there are some interest on Calvin, I could post a revised and completed post and links of the recordings.

@ Gerard, I downloaded your original post years ago but an upgrade would always be welcome. I seem to remember that a couple of tracks where missing or very hard to find. Also good to read that you could give Calvin's daughter copies of his music.

Thanks Xyros. Yes I have now the almost "complete" recordings of this fine artist and I will make a revised and completed post about him. I remember Calvin was an important name around Memphis during the late 70's & early 80's. Unfortujnately he died in prison in the same Cummins Farm penitentiary that he had made infamous on his great record and a smash hit throughout the south.

Hi!

Thanx for this one. A "new" artist here = "new" hears here too.

Cheers!
Ciao! For now.
