LP was in terrible condition so there is background noise and ticks ... it is what it is.

Love this. Vocally he reminds me of Piano Red, Dr. Feelgood.
THANX!!!
LOVE the liner notes! Did he write them himself? Was the spell checker on vacation? I am enjoying the shit outta this. Thanx again!
Many errors are on the titles & musicians on the liner notes here.
Only the first 5 tracks (Woopin' thigh/ West Side woman/ 47th Str burning down/ Tell me baby/ You need somebody) are from a 1989 session with Vance Kelly et al.
Good candy here is in fact Big Fat mama. This track plus Tricky woman and She's gone are also on the Blues on Blues 777 album from 19 February 1985 with Carey Bell, hca; Eddie Taylor, g; Lurrie Bell, g; Douglas Watson, bs; Odie Payne & Earl Howell, dms.
And Chief police is from a 12th March 1983 session with the same musicians than in 1985. This track was issued as a 45 as well on the Blues on Blues LP 777.
