Shit happens.

The life of a music blog hangs on a silk thread and it snapped today.  Pixeldrain has banned me for posting "Narg - African Disco Funk". It sucks but it is what it is.

Looking back "Don't Ask Me ... I Don't Know" has been around for about 20 years. I have enjoyed posting my own collection of vinyl/cd's and also the contributions KansasJoe and others. To them, I'd like say thank you for your support and help. To everyone who has visited, downloaded and enjoyed the music also thank you for your comments and encouragement.

I have removed "Narg" but it is possible that my other files are still available. Could someone drop a comment letting me know?

Thank you all for your comments. It seems like all the links are still working which is a relieve, so I may migrate to Mega if I decide to continue in the future.

Hi Xyros,
I sympathize because as a blogger, I know what it's like to be harassed, to lose access, to lose links! I hope that all of this will soon be a bad memory and that users will once again be able to enjoy this wonderful blog! Hang in there!

Yesterday's Byther Smith works still fine

BTW That Narg I downloaded had 4 exactly the same tracks (that is track 4)

Randomly also downloaded Teddy Chisi, also works,

I've tried the Byther Smith link and it works. I know it's not worth it, but I can tell you that in Spain, pixeldrain.com doesn't work on any of the internet browsers I use (Firefox, Opera).
Thanks a lot for your great job during this two decades.
Take care!

@Xyros I tried some and they are still active, switching to mega makes sense. Question do you still have access to your pixeldrain account? if so I would try uploading it again but change the title on the zip, worth a try.

Chris-France said it best. I've enjoyed your blog over the years and have been introduced to some hard-to-find albums. I do hope you came back after a much-needed break. But if you don't, thank you for all the great music.

@reb
Thanks for the info, but I already know that. It was the same people of "pixel" who inform me when I ask them about that issue time ago. They were unable to solve in any other way.

I hope you will continue, and Mega is a good host.

Hi, Xyros, I m so sorry to hear about the problems with the files, I really hope you have not decided to stop posting, your Blog was the first Blues Blog I found, and because of this I was able to get so much great blues music, and great out of print blues music that I would not have gotten. Your Blog introduced me to countless great artists I had never herd of, and would not have if not for your Blog, thank you for that. When I first started to make requests, I was amazed that every time within a day or two you would post the request , some albums I thought I would never see, but you would post them, thank you so much.
I really hope you continue to post, but if you do not, I have to thank you for the years or great blues music, and other music. So ''Thank you so very much'', and for filling all my requests, I only discovered your Blog around 2018, maybe late 2018.
Thank you again for the years or great music, I hope you stick around, but if not , " Good luck with your next adventure ", and stay well.
From, Silvertone
