I'm a long-time reader of your blog & over the last couple of decades have downloaded many gems I would've had zero chance of finding anywhere else. As a way of thanking you & giving back to the community I'd like to offer you & your readers something quite unique.
In 1979 my band at the time, The Hepsters, were booked to back Johnny Shines on 2 dates in Melbourne. Johnny did a third show also but was backed by a different band. In each show Johnny did the opening set solo on acoustic guitar followed by 1 or 2 sets on electric guitar with the band. While the recordings (straight from the desk) are a valued memento of my early days in music, I'm not particularly impressed by the band tracks. However, the 3 solo sets are something very special.
