@ Maple Blues
I reckon mine is the anonymous request you refer to. I’m puzzled as to why it showed anonymous as it usually auto-fills that box; as it has just done.
Anyway, thanks for trying to fulfil the request but I already have your similarly titled Jasmine release.
What I’m looking for is two albums in Charly’s Folk-Star / Goldband series:
Whole Lotta Drinkin’ On The Block (GFCL-104)
Rockin’, Jumpin’, Shoutin’ (GCL-112)
@ Hakase,
I note your response of 06/01/2026 but I’m unsure about your ending “if nobody care it *)” - did the fingers slip? Here’s hoping you can fill my request.

Thanks for your help.

The Legendary Henry Stone Presents: Blues from the 50s
Hope Someone Is Able To Post This..

Here is "Rockin' The Blues" (Rockin' HTCD 5502-2, 1998): https://mega.nz/file/5aB0XKDZ#B6zL8snsSFtPPEWqb7SaMrYI6e90HS3ZPyEr3kl08LI
"The Legendary Henry Stone Presents: Blues from the 50s" (2004) is exactly the same as this, except that it also includes Ray Charles's "St. Pete Florida Blues" a.k.a. "Baby Let Me Hear You Call My Name" a.k.a. "I Found My Baby There" a.k.a "Done Found Out", which can be found on a million other CDs and LPs.
"Rockin' The Blues" was originally supposed to be released in 1995 on Ace (Ace CDCHD 585), with five unreleased (or at least described as unreleased) tracks by John Lee Hooker also included, but it was withdrawn before release for some reason. I guess nobody has that one!

Xyros, Thank you so much! 320 is fine by me. What/where is SLSK?
Hi,
Rebonjour !!
Comme je n'ai pas eu de succès avec le sauvetage du DVD musical précèdent de mon frère (voir plus haut ...) je retente ma chance avec un autre DVD qu'il a aussi perdu :
Hey Boy! Hey Girl avec Louis Prima et Keely Smith ::
https://www.imdb.com/fr/title/tt0052887/
D'avance merci !
Chris-France
SLSK=Soulseek. Well known mp3 sharing programme that's been around for years. Downloads can be dubious with fake flacs etc. For more info visit https://www.slsknet.org/news/
I agree ! When I first saw SLSK i think I was back to old days in Emule, Kazaa, Napster , even NewsGroups ! LOL ! A lot of garbage and a complete mess in music storage ! How can people manage music without tags and correct filenames/folders ??
Unfortunately, that's the only way to share stuff these days.
No one wants to go to the trouble of managing torrents or a blog...
All the Best Blues !!
Chris-France.
Guys, thanx for the soul seek explanation. I tried using it once and was not happy with what I saw.

Found a russian version (LOL!) and a decent english streamable version (both on russian site !!) Are Americain dead to good music and old movies ??
Thanks again

DC is the way SLK been sucking for a long time LOL but for DC you have to get in private hubs the opened ones not reliable
Is DC still around? When I was into old scifi and horor movies I used to hang around in DC chatting and trading. It;s been a long time though.

Coral & Decca Soul Diamonds: https://mega.nz/file/YCYn1Y4C#EJokKOHs_66cFfyaSc9otEzSaWmO72yce8JlPSN5IBo
When this series was posted about five years ago, there was some controversy about poor sound quality and missing tracks, and it turned out that at least some of the volumes were not taken from the original CDs. These are the six volumes that I have bought on CD myself since that time, and I can confirm that they are all original.
Lots of great music being shared in The Cellar. A massive collection of country, bluegrass, blues, rock from cabledogg2, plus jazz and blues from Patrick, some nice light jazz/R&B from Nance. So drop into the Cellar and look around. Everything's free, just help yourselves, and leave a small "Thank You" for the posters.
Link: https://countrybluessoul.blogspot.com/p/bobs-cellar-have-album-or-some-music.html
Many thanks go to N.N.for providing clean rips of these cd's ... much apprecited.
Always a pleasure to drop into the Cellar and look around so do yourselves a favour and give it a visit, you won't regret it.
N.N. - Thank you so much for these Soul Diamonds. Looking forward to hearing the first 2 and I will compare your others with what I have. But I THINK we sorted out true rips of the others in the past. Xyros, I LOVE this place. AND, I will have to check out Bob's Cellar.
An oddball request, in that it's for a dub of a single rather an album. Is that permitted?
If so: searching for a dub of soul jazz organist Jimmy McGriff's first recording, a 45 on the White Rock label, no issue #, titled "Foxy Do [or "Due"], Parts 1 & 2". Any help or direction is appreciated! Thanks in advance.
Big Thanks For The Missing Diamonds !
Thanks N. N. for the Josie & Capitol Soul, I was missing these 2.
Hey Bob, I took the others that NN ripped himself. I A/Bd them with the ones I got from the last time we did this, and NN's were real, and some that we THOUGHT were real were not. I suggest everyone who cares about details get NN's rips. Thanx again NN. And to Xyros, as always!
@Scott: regarding Jimmy McGriff 45. You could ask at Egroj World, he might know (https://egrojworld.blogspot.com/) Also I'm a member of a couple of private jazz blogs, so I'll ask them. If anything comes up I'll let you know.
Thank you Bob!
@Scott: Your request has now been filled, check for the link in the Cellar at Bob Mac's Compilations.

Here are Deep Soul Delights 1, 2, 3 and It's A Soul Thing 11. The Delights volumes 2 & 3 are rips from my cd's. The Other 2 I can't vouch for. - Emey

Bob, well here's a mystery: the two tracks downloaded from that link were *not* Jimmy McGriff "Foxy Due Pts. 1 & 2", although the files were named as such. It was actually a Willis Jackson & Jack McDuff recording called "Please Mr. Jackson", which was apparently split into two parts to release as a single.
I looked in the Cellar, and it appears that my post and the link are now gone.
Not sure what happened, but the search goes on for a dub of Jimmy McGriff's first single, "Foxy Do [or "Due"] Parts 1 & 2".
@Scott: yes you're correct, I checked and the "Foxy Due Pts. 1 & 2" that was posted in the Cellar is fake, and actually "Please Mr. Jackson" (I just checked myself) The guy who shared the link deleted it himself, so it's gone, not that it matters as it was a fake anyway. So sorry about that. And yes your search goes one. Good luck.
Clash, Thanx for the soul comps!
Thanks Bob 👍
Thanks For The Mighty Delights.
Does anyone have the Home Cooking/Collectables CD "Saturday Night In San Antonio"?
Still in search of a dub of Jimmy McGriff's first 45, "Foxy Do [or "Due"] Pts. 1 & 2" on the White Rock label, no #. Any leads are appreciated! Thanks.

I’m looking for an LP titled "Blues Routes" released by the World Music Institute in 1986.
It features unreleased live recordings by John Cephas, John Dee Holeman, Cedell Davis and others.
I’ve never seen it for sale, and there isn't much information about it online; it’s only mentioned in the "Blues Discography 1970-2000" book.

Apparently, there are 18 other volumes from Superfly Presents' Sweet Sounds Of Superfly series. This is the only one I have. If anyone of you kind folks have others, please do share. Thank you.
Is There A Kind Soul Having This To Share,Please?
T.V. Slim- The Flatfoot Sam Man: East Texas And Louisiana Blues (1955-1962)

@ Johntagle
i dont have that discog
only find these mentioned about that release
https://www.blues-sessions.com/johndeeholeman.php
https://www.blues-sessions.com/johncephas.php
* but not on here
https://www.blues-sessions.com/cedelldavis.php
looks no decent releases of that co
except
https://www.discogs.com/release/5844382-Various-African-American-Gospel-Music
small booklet says there was 8 cassettes of "Voices of the Americas" series
which included 'blues music'
so probably there was a cassette release of something like "African-American Blues Music" WMI-00?
thats what you need maybe
hope this helps ;)
Thanks Hakase for the answer.
While looking through the book "Blues Discography 1970–2000" by Robert Ford and Bob McGrath, I came across that LP and found it very interesting. However, I’ve never seen it for sale; it doesn't appear on Discogs, Ebay or anywhere else.
What I found online is the same information you have.
Cedell Davis performs three tracks: "Murder Your Blues," "Change Your Love," and "Baby I Love You." They were all recorded live at Washington Square Church in New York City between January and June 1986—the same venue and timeframe as the recordings by John Dee Holeman and John Cephas & Phil Wiggins.
It must have been an LP with a very limited pressing.
