Just did a Google search on Buddy Rogers, found a small pic of the man, and yes he's white.
My 10 minute son Google turned up a Buddy Rodgers that played and went to school with with Cliff Thomas( Philips recordings). I'm guessing that the school was segregated at the time and Cliff Thomas is/was a white recording artist. Both came from Mississippi an Teem was a subsidiary of ACE records. Buddy Rogers recorded at least 1 single with the Three Jays that is on Youtube. So I'm hoping 1+1=2 and not 3.
Whatever his race, it's nice to have this album. Many thanks. It's not like I'm going to stumble across a used copy of this obscure album anytime soon!
