Beale Street Blues Band - Live
Yet another little known tape from the collection of KansasJoe.
Xyros: I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank you (and Kansas Joe) again for all the great music you've made available for us this past year. And I'd like to wish you and your family a very happy Christmas and all the best for 2017.
I'm probably messing with something I shouldn't be messing with (again), but...
I decided to take on the project of separating the tracks on this. So here it is:
http://www12.zippyshare.com/v/P6Te7urB/file.html
There are no spaces between the tracks. It still flows from one to the other like the original download. In fact, it was slightly hard to know where one track ends and another begins because of the announcer. But I did my best. And I tagged everything in my usual way, and added a "cover" to use for display.
The only thing is, the way that Zippy has been suddenly removing links lately, it may be best if someone backs this up for possible reload, in case I'm not able to.
Many thanks for putting in the effort Skinnymon. I have absolutaly no patience and gave up after about 5 minutes. I'll download this evening so that it's at least backed up on my external HD.
Glad you liked it. The only problem was creating a .cue file. I had an idea where the track endings should be using Audacity. The problem was getting the timing right with the Announcer talking over the music. He must have had a previous job as a radio announcer. (At least it is in the U.S. They have always been very good at talking over the beginning and ends of songs.) :) So it took me a few .cue files before I got what I wanted. I probably spent more time on the cover art.

This looks like a gem. Thank you very much.
Download seems to be just cassette cover?
Is there meant to be an album with this?
Files got lost along the way ... sorry.
Many thx - best wishes for Xmas and New Year
Cassette notes say this is 1 of 6 tapes - does KansasJoe have them all by any chance?
Ta
Big thanks to both Xyros and Kansas Joe for this one. I really appreciate a chance to get copies of these very rare cassettes.
Glad you all like this offering from KansasJoe? Don't know if KansasJoe has the other tapes but I' m sure if he does he'll rip them soon.

That is, if this is of any use to you.
