Many thanks for this Xyros. I don't know but about this LP but gather that it's rare, so I appreciate getting a copy.

What a joy,I can hardly wait to hear this again. There was a youtube link to this - but it wasn't this lp. I noticed it had many visitors, I was told it was a "fly trap" to attract hits. So thank you once again.

It's a very rare lp that has not been rereleased as far as I know. Brian Pounders was looking for it for some time and found a copy. Glad he shared it with us.

I have to admit, I am still stunned, that I am able to listen to this one finally. Hopefully Gerard's request for the Robert Pete Williams Lp will also turn up one day.

I had both of these wonderful, recently posted Bluesvilles,and due to a complete lack of familial interest sold my entire collection some years ago now.Do we know the country in which the generous sharer, Mr. Pounders lives? My collection went to a dealer in the Irish Republic.
(it also included many 77 la titles including the R.P. Williams album)all bought from Dobell's in Charing Cross in the mid sixties.

If you feel this to all be rather irrelevant please feel free to delete. My feelings won't be hurt.

@ Bottleneck, the fear of every collector whose family aren't interested in their collection. I have 2 grown children and my daughter wants a list of values and my son, to my surprise, wants my LP's. So my daughter is been disinherited and my son can do no wrong.
Maybe Brian Pounders will enlighten us but I think he got the rips of the LP's through another collector.

This Wade Walton album was, in my younger days, easily available by dozens at the modest sum pf 16 Francs at the Flea Market of Saint Ouen (North of Paris). In fact, all the Bluesville LPs were being sold out there due to an absolute lack of figure sales (a lot of those albums had sold a little hundred and sometimes less!). I bought many of them but not this Wade Walton because I figured it was not very good and hardly necessary. Years after I went to Clarksdale, met and chatted with Wade himself and - although he didn't think himself as a great bluesman but a much better barber - I started to regret not having bought the LP when it was possible. Since then (late 70's), I have been looking for a copy of the LP at a reasonable price but never found it. So, thanks a lot now to Brian Pounders and Xyros fr sharing this rarity!

@Bottleck & Xyros
I live in Tennessee just south of Nashville. I was born in Aberdeen Mississippi and grew up in Columbus Mississippi. So the blues is kinda in my blood. The Bluesville rips are from my LP collection. The Wade Walton came to me from Italy. The Brooks Berry was actually 1 of 10 never opened LPs I purchased. Also in that group of 10 was a great"Faded Picture Blues" by Paul Howard and Ralph Willis. All of which I have available in flac as well. I'm not the best at LP rips. Thank you for the great music this blog makes available.

@ Brian Pounders, so we can say definitely nowhere near Ireland. The Brooks Berry Lp is a wonderful Lp to listen to and I'm glad you shared it as well as the Wade Walton.
Any Lp's you'd like to share are welcome either in Flac or mp3.
I've more or less posted my collection already and I'm mainly reposting dead links and what KansasJoe shares.
