Thanks for this. We didn't really get the dance crazes in Australia. There was the Jive, the the Stomp, then the Twist....that was pretty much it.

Re KrakenFiles.
I have absolutely no trouble with Kraken.
Recently they had a server problem, so some older files could not be downloaded.
All files uploaded after that download find.
This is the quickest free service out there.
I alos rarely have problems with Zippy.
I put this down to my having an extremely fast up to date computer and a good and reliable provider and broadband service. Alos having appropriate add-ons installed in my browser.
Most of the reported problems are not the problem of the software sharing services.
I know some out there don't want to hear this, and will get angry for me for saying so, but I call it as i see it.
Most problems are solvable with patience.

Most of these dance crazes never really broke out into wider world which we can be grateful for.
Though I'm surprised that the Kangaroo Hop (Google) from 1915 wasn't big in Australia.

Hi!

Thanx for this one. Several "new" artists = "new" hears here. Going by the artists guessing this is a N.O./Louisiana regional collection?

Cheers!
Ciao! For now.

Thank you very much!! I love the Jackson Mississippi ACE label. I met Jimmy Clanton and he sang incredibly well! Great concert on a casino boat.
