I ripped the original cd using Freac. I have my doubts about some of the sources used for the History of Soul cd's. Could you tell me which track you sent as an example.

It was just for your info!

I downloaded these cd's years ago in @320 and its just the same pattern and result as your @flac

The gain is 9.59db in @320 as in @flac!

But don't pay too much attention on my quote, twe web is full of these things.

I don't know if you listen sometimes at youtube to some tracks, but in 9 of 10 you will hear a big difference between cd and vinyl!

I prefer listen to a true vinyl but that's also a problem on Youtube many people upload CD's!

So, thank you for all your work on your site...

I have my doubts about some of the sources used for the History of Soul cd's.

thats because master tapes are not often used on this label, so when someone tests for real flac it comes up false negative, wouldnt worry about it xyros. Its free so why the doubters?
