For the fun of it.

 You might been thinking what this got to do with a Blues Blog, well this old farm is where it all happens. 

The foto, taken in the 30's, is where we have been living for the last 15 years. The canal is still there with a bridge over it for the car, the plank has long gone. In the summer small boats use the canal to enter a far larger canal system in a nature area, in the winter, with luck, one can skate and once a year it is used as part of a survival run. A nice Frisian village of about 400 people that is not to far from the local city... nothing is far from anything in the Netherlands.
