I have just orderd a copy of the CD and I will post it in flac and for comparison I'll rip one track in 320 and compare it to the rip above. Why you ask, well I have had original CD's before that where taken from low quality mp3's and when ripped to 320 show as low quality 320 rips not a reconversion.

Beware! These are NOT 320K mps as this site suggests!!!. Most are no better than 128k mp3 files which have simply been upscaled by someone to 320k. You can't improve the quality by converting files to a higher figure. In fact, the opposite applies - you actually lose quality!

decent flack rip is not always make 'good' flack
its all depend on the masters they used and the mastering they ever done
even some P-vines not reach 20khz sometimes
Jasmine and Acrobat released great cds lately
but i think they do not care much about their masters
sometimes wrong tracks sometimes awful master like from yt

Xyros: I hope you haven't wasted your money on the purchased CD! Many (but not all) Jasmine CDs use low quality mp3 sources to start with, so there's no guarantee the original comp is going to be WAV sourced. I concur with HAKASE's comment that SPEK is an excellent tool to identify fake mp3 files (8.5 is the latest version of it). I use it all the time for downloads. I have SPEk on my desktop and simply click and drag a song from the download into the program to see what I have.
