Bob Mac, this is from the 80's but as you wrote it has that old feeling about it. These cut and paste private releases can be real fun and I always try and buy them when they come along. Who knows what wonders they contain?
Thanks again Xyros. This session is not even listed in Blues Discography! Ultra rare! I wonder who is playing behind J.D., maybe some remainers from Bacon Fat?
I doubt if we will ever really know who's backing J.D. on the lp unless the info turns up on one of the forums. I think I picked this LP up almost 2 years ago on EBay for a reasonable price and thought I had already posted it back in 2018. Must have stuck it away and forgotten about it until your request came.
